Lefty democratic socialist Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is refusing to debate her little-known Dem opponent just weeks away from the June 25 primary, her underdog rival said Tuesday.

Ocasio-Cortez is heavily favored to win re-election to a fourth term against Marty Dolan, 66, a retired Wall Street banker.

Dolan requested a formal debate with AOC last month after she got free airtime on the CBS “Late Night Show” with host Steven Colbert. But the hopeful said he still hasn’t heard from “AWOL” AOC, 34.

“She thinks she’s above the democratic process,” Dolan said. “AOC is AWOL, which is no surprise.”

“She’s ducking. She’s a chicken.”

The Ocasio-Cortez campaign had no immediate comment.

The congresswoman did debate her then-primary opponent, Michelle Caruso-Cabrera, in a feisty showdown on BronxNet before the 2020 primary.

She did not have a Democratic primary in 2022.

The 14th Congressional District takes in portions of The Bronx and Queens.

Ocasio-Cortez has $6 million in her campaign treasury while Dolan is running on fumes after personally lending his campaign money.

Dolan said voters have a right to hear a debate on his moderate views vs. AOC’s “radical” ones.

He said Ocasio-Cortez supports New York’s sanctuary policy that encourages protecting and encouraging illegal immigration, which he opposes.

“We should freeze illegal immigration,” Dolan said.

He said her Green New Deal would boost electricity costs for her constituents, too.

“She’s chasing two rabbits — national fame and trying to serve her district. You can’t do both,” Dolan said.
